Living History Event at Applegarth Close, Guinness Homes – extract from the Guinness Care and Support Staff Newsletter
A ‘Living History’ reminiscence therapy event was held in July at Applegarth Close, a sheltered housing scheme in Sheffield. The event celebrated the joy of toys and games from the past and part of the session included the opportunity to make a toy.
The event is part of a series of presentations delivered by a dynamic heritage presenter called Jenny Bland of The History Van and the next one will feature a commemoration of the First World War.
