The discoveries and inventions of the great names of Ancient Greece still influence us today. Spend a day with the Greek Goddess Hera finding out what the Ancient Greeks discovered!
- Join Philo the Greek engineer experimenting with water wheels.
- Join Hippocrates to discover his thinking on medicine, treat wounded soldiers using his new ideas and swear the ‘Hippocratic Oath’.
- Take a bath with Archimedes and play with toys inspired by his inventions.
- Spin with Pamphile, the inventor of the distaff and silk spinning, try on Greek style clothing.
- Find out how Sophocles performed plays with just 3 actors, use masks and perform Pandora’s box, one of his great plays.
- Discover the fate of girls and boys when they came of age, which toy will you sacrifice, will you get to the Olympics?
Schools booking for more than 1 class will be provided with teacher-led activities for use when they are not with Kathryn, so that all the children are involved throughout the day.
